This pocket rosary evokes the conviction and dedication to Christ manifest in St. Francis of Assisi.  It features a pewter Tau crucifix, a  symbol employed heavily by St. Francis in his life, devotions and ministries. The beads are olive wood made from trees in the Holy Land.  The pocket rosary also features a stunning pewter St. Francis medal, handcast by American artisan Hank Schlau.  
 
Aside from the spiritual richness and aesthetics, these components were chosen for durability, as the rosary is designed for pocket use where keys, change and money clips will also be present.  These particular products will be more resilient than most other metal materials.
